Biography Brion T. McClanahan

Brion McClanahan is a historian who has dedicated his career to studying and teaching about the Founding Fathers and the founding principles of the United States. He received his B.A. in History from Salisbury University in 1997, followed by an M.A. in History from the University of South Carolina in 1999 and a Ph.D. in History from the same institution in 2006. He had the privilege of being Clyde Wilson’s last doctoral student. McClanahan is the author or co-author of four books, including The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Founding Fathers and The Founding Fathers Guide to the Constitution. In addition to his writing, he has also contributed to various publications and websites. McClanahan is a faculty member at Tom Woods’ Liberty Classroom and has appeared on numerous radio talk shows.
