Biography Rose Fairbanks

Rose Fairbanks’s passion for nineteenth-century novels started in her childhood and only grew as she pursued a history degree, with a particular focus on Jane Austen. Despite her academic pursuits, she never abandoned her love for reading and, in fact, developed a fondness for Historical Romance. When financial difficulties threatened her ability to care for her autistic son, Rose turned to writing the kind of stories she had always enjoyed. Today, she is a best-selling author of Jane Austen-inspired stories as well as Regency Romance, Historical Fiction, Paranormal Romance, and Historical Fantasy. While she completed a BA in history in 2008, she hopes to finish her master’s studies in the future. When she’s not immersed in books or working on her own, Rose is busy chasing after her young children, neglecting household chores, and expressing gratitude to her husband for handling the dishes and laundry. She is a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and Romance Writers of America, and can be found on social media or on her blog.
